Trip highlights:
Ascent to Yanapacha 5400mts, Chopicalqui 6345 ms, Pisco 5752 ms. The mountain climbing in Peru demands an excellent physical condition and training as well as a good degree of knowledge of mountain techniques for those who try to reach these steep and difficult summits. Nevertheless, there exists the possibility of ascending to a pair of peaks at 5000m, which do not demand much effort or knowledge; allowing anyone to enjoy the unique landscape that the Blanca Mountain range offers.

Itinerary
Day 1.- Arrival to Lima, transfer to Hotel
Day 2.- Travel via bus: Lima - Huaraz. Night in Huaraz
Days 3-7. - Trek Santa Cruz - Vaquería - Portechuelo de Llanganuco
Day 8. - Rest at base camp in Pisco
Days 9-10. - High camp. Pisco summit – base camp
Day 11. – Base camp Yanapaccha
Day 12. - Cumbre Yanapaccha
Day 13-14. – Rest in the morning. Base camp at Cholpicalqui 4950m
Day 15-16. - Camping Chopicalqui 5600m
Day 17.- Chopicalqui Summit - base camp
Day 18. - Travel base camp - Huaraz
Day 19. - Travel Huaraz - Lima
Day 20. -Transfer out/Galápagos connection or Cusco extension |
